     Sunday May 18, 2008  9:00 - 11:00 AM

 

Make-up Tryout - Major League Diamond

    6:30 pm on Wednesday May 21, 2008 (after the major league game ends)

 

PLEASE NOTE:

These try-outs are ONLY for the Cal Ripken District Tournament

teams, the short double elimination tournament that immediately 

follows the Warrendale World Series.  Actual dates and locations 

of the games are yet to be determined, but usually occur 

between June 22nd and July 2nd.  The actual dates have not been 

set yet.  The 11's team may play a few days later.

The tournament is highly competitive.  All players must be open and 

willing to play at any position that their coach asks.  Practices will be 

held every weekend morning from 5/24 through 6/18, and then daily 

until the tournament starts. If you are unable or unwilling to 

commit to the practices then please do not try out.

Each age-bracket team will have an 11 player roster. There will be 

4 teams: 9’s, 10’s, 11’s and 12’s.

There is no need to try out if you are only interested in a 

Summer League team.  There will be separate sign-ups for those 

teams on Sunday May 18th at 9:00AM.
